Our next FAITHSHARE meeting, on the theme of “How does our faith benefit the community”, is on THURSDAY 24th APRIL, and will be in ROOM 1 at the Quaker Meeting House, starting at usual time of 7.30 p.m.

This topic was raised at the last faithshare by one of the attendees who wondered if there was some way that Faith in Lancaster might contribute to the local community in ways that were perhaps more practical and of a charitable nature.

This raises the important question, how do our faiths view the wider community? What is their relationship to it? Does charity have an important message to convey to the charitable doer as much as to the receiver.

How does faith enable practitioners to reach out and participate with others who do not have the same view as themselves?

If you have any other questions please bring them along and if you have any answers please do share them with us.
